Who am i?
This is always a tricky question to initially answer.
Primarily, i am human. To be specific i am a human male, in my mid twenties and i am unfortunately under 6ft tall. I think i am rather good looking (thank god for a positive self image) but i am most definitely over-weight. I get really irritated by my neck which gives me a horrid double chin regardless of my weight. See for yourself…
Left: Feb 2008, Right: Jan 2007. Differences are un-noticable, except for the exceptionally better hairstyle in 2007, and the 9-o-clock shadow (which shows off my double chin a lot more…) and the minor (2 pounds) reduction in weight in the left hand picture.
Secondarily, i am a civil engineer, a nerd, and perhaps a bit of a hermit. The outside world has the daystar which is just pure evil!
I am thankfully not single. Thanks to the power of the internet i met a lovely woman who just happens to share the same interests as me, amuses me greatly and makes me happy. 6 years and counting this September!
Previous Incarnations of the Blog
I have now undergone the process of reviewing my past Livejournal posts (http://mastersluggard.livejournal.com/) and they aren’t fantastic reading. I think i understand why i stopped and thats because it didn’t actually mean anything to me. Its just me, blathering on about crap. Lovely. And so, this will not be kept as a part of this little project. Interesting seeing where i came from though…
What is Carvott?
As a name goes, its an odd one. It came from the same random name generator as my EVE-Online corp name Rakeriku came from. It sounds sci-fi-ey, and shortens to “Carv” which i love. Nothing makes my little squeeling hard bastard happier than someone saying “Carv, help, we got hostiles pounding us”. Yes, i know it sounds gay, but its kinda scary how often it gets said on the ventrilo server.
Oh, and this online persona has something i lack in real life… a chin… a strong nose… receding hairline… a neck… more butch shoulders… i could go one for a while! See below.
